BA (Hons) Business Management (Finance) 3-Year Full Degree

Criteria for admission to the programme

For year one admission, Middlesex University general entry requirements apply, including GCSE’s (grade A to C / score 9 to 4) (or equivalent) in mathematics and English language. Applicants whose first language is not English are required to achieve a minimum score of 6.0 in IELTS overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or an equivalent qualification recognised by Middlesex University.

Specific programme entry requirements are 112 UCAS points or equivalent. We accredit prior experiential learning and welcome mature applicants with suitable life skills and work experience. Students not meeting the programme entry requirements may be eligible to join at year zero (level 3), the foundation year.

For entry with advance standing to year 2 (or final year), candidates must have achieved both 120 credits at level four (or 240 credits with 120 credits at level five) and must have successfully met the relevant learning outcome and syllabus requirements of the programme.

The equivalence of qualifications from outside the UK will be determined according t NARIC guidelines

 

BA (Hons) Business Management (Finance) Top Up Degree

Criteria for admission to the programme

Admission to level 6 (1-year top-up) requires an HND (or equivalent qualification) in Business, or equivalent subject, with a merit profile which has 120 credits (60 ECTS) at level 4 and 120 credits (60 ECTS) at level 5, including at least 180 credits (90 ECTS) specialising in business. At least 60 credits (30 ECTS) must be passed in Finance/Accounting/Economics and at least 15 credits (7.5 ECTS) in each of the following business subjects: Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations/Information Management, Business Environment/Strategy.

Applicants whose first language is not English are required to achieve a minimum score of 6.0 in IELTS overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or an equivalent qualification recognised by Middlesex University.

The equivalence of qualifications from outside the UK will be determined according to NARIC guidelines.

 

BA (Hons) International Business Administration Top Up Degree

Criteria for admission to the programme

Middlesex University general entry requirements apply.

Admission to level 6 (1-year top-up) requires an HND (or equivalent qualification) in Business or equivalent subject with a merit profile with 120 credits (60 ECTS) at level 4 and 120 credits (60 ECTS) at level 5, including at least 120 credits (60 ECTS) specialising in business. At least 15 credits (7.5 ECTS) must be passed in each of the following business subjects: Finance/Accounting/Economics, Marketing, Human Resource Management/Organisational Behaviour, Operations/Information Management/ Management, Business Environment/Strategy.

Applicants whose first language is not English are required to achieve a minimum score of 6.0 in IELTS overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or an equivalent qualification recognised by Middlesex University.

The equivalence of qualifications from outside UK will be determined according to NARIC guidelines.

 

BSc (Hons) Information Technology and Business Information Systems Top Up

Criteria for admission to the programme

For entry on to Level 6 of this top-up programme you should have one of the following qualifications:

Applications from mature candidates without formal qualifications are welcomed, provided they can demonstrate appropriate levels of relevant ability and experience.

These applicants are required to submit a portfolio of work experience to show evidence of achieving relevant learning outcomes, and these will vary depending on both the programme and level the student is applying for. Evidence should comprise the applicant’s own work and may include documents they have written, procedures they have designed, proposals they have drafted, electronic resources, photographs, video etc. or information gathered from others about you such as statements from employers, certificates of in-house courses completed.
