he programme is designed to build overall business knowledge specializing the role of finance in the business environment. The critical and analytical problem-solving skills are well focused directing students towards its practical application in the business context. The programme provides students with an understanding of the conceptual and practical aspects of finance that prepare them for a career in business and management. Admission to 1-year top-up requires an HND (or equivalent qualification) in Business, or equivalent subject, with a merit profile which has 120 credits at level 4 and 120 credits at level 5, including at least 180 credits specialising in business. At least 60 credits must be passed in Finance/Accounting/Economics and at least 15 credits passed in Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations/Information Management, Business Environment/Strategy. Middlesex accredits prior experiential learning and welcome mature applicants to apply with suitable life skills and work experience in order to help them successfully earn a formal educational qualification.
Students can start studies in our September intake and full-time students can complete this qualification within nine months.
