The overall purpose of the design of this programme is to meet the needs of employers by developing professionals in business management and finance who can manage ethically, sensitively and holistically in a range of organisations in an increasingly global and rapidly changing environment. The core content aims to develop learners’ personal and professional knowledge, skills and competence in order to enable them to realise their full potential which almost certainly includes opportunities for practical application, and where appropriate recognised by the relevant professional bodies. This is a three-year full-time, or maximum of six year-part-time programme. According to the Middlesex University general entry requirements, students who have passed GCE (A/L) in Mathematics/Commerce (or equivalent) that would make up the 112 UCAS points can apply for year one admission.
Middlesex accredits prior experiential learning and welcome mature applicants to apply with suitable life skills and work experience in order to help them successfully earn a formal educational qualification. The assessment criteria of the programme is a combination of examinations and assignments.
